Supreme Court To Delhi Govt: Ensure Treatment For Those Injured In NEET Protests | N18V

The Supreme Court has directed the Delhi government to ensure medical treatment for those injured during the NEET paper leak protests at Jantar Mantar. The bench, comprising CJI Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, was hearing a petition challenging the alleged use of pellet guns by the Rapid Action Force during the July 20 'Sansad Chalo' March. The court noted that police rules permit pellet gun use in exceptional circumstances, with Justice Bagchi observing that such use cannot be termed illegal unless the rules themselves are challenged.
