Ebola deaths in DRC surge past 1,400 as virus ‘spreading like a wildfire’

The Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo is spreading rapidly, with the United Nations warning the response is falling behind.
Nearly 1,500 people have died from the virus, with more than 3,300 cases confirmed.
Officials say many people are still dying at home rather than seeking treatment.
