PoK Protest Wave Reaches Islamabad As Students, Lawyers Rally Against Rawalakot Crackdown | BREAKING

The anger over the recent violence in Rawalakot has spilt onto the streets of Islamabad, with students, lawyers, rights activists and members of civil society staging one of the most visible solidarity protests seen in Pakistan’s capital in recent months.

Hundreds of demonstrators assembled outside the National Press Club in Islamabad, condemning the alleged crackdown by Pakistani security forces in Rawalakot and other parts of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Protesters carried placards, chanted slogans against the government and military establishment, and demanded justice for those killed during the recent unrest.
