The Supreme Court has given a clean chit to late former PM Manmohan Singh in the 2005 coal block allocation case, more than 18 months after his death on December 26, 2024.
A bench led by CJI Surya Kant set aside a 2015 Special CBI Court order that had summoned Singh and five others, and accepted the CBI's closure report clearing them of wrongdoing.
