Star of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland surprises the students of PS 37 in New York City with an action-packed lesson in the art of movie stunts. This episode of Celebrity Substitute celebrates creativity, collaboration, confidence, and the incredible teamwork that goes into bringing blockbuster action sequences to life.
Tom begins by teaching students one of the most essential skills in stunt work: how to safely perform a professional stunt fall. After learning the fundamentals of movement, timing, and trust, the class puts their new skills into action as Tom guides them through choreographed action sequences worthy of the big screen.
The lesson culminates in the production of an original action short titled Superkids, where Tom directs, performs alongside the students, and helps transform the school into the set of an epic superhero adventure. By the end of the day, the young performers experience the thrill of creating their own action movie while discovering the precision, preparation, and collaboration behind every great stunt.
