Iran says it seeks control over Strait of Hormuz reopening talks

Iran says it wants greater control and authority over the Strait of Hormuz as discussions continue over a possible reopening of the key maritime passage. Tehran has rejected a proposal based on shared control with Oman, insisting it should oversee both routes through the strait.
