Parliament Monsoon Session 2026 Updates: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Monday tabled the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, in the Lok Sabha amid protests and sloganeering by Opposition MPs.

The Bill, aimed at amending the existing anti-paper leak law, was introduced as the House witnessed disruptions over various issues raised by the Opposition.

Meanwhile, both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 2 PM following disruptions during the proceedings. The proceedings were briefly taken up as the Monsoon Session resumed after the first week was largely washed out over the NEET paper leak controversy and other issues.
