KYIV ATTACKED: Russia Launches Ballistic Strike Again Days After Deadly Arms Exhibition Attack
Russia launched ballistic missiles toward Kyiv overnight on July 26, striking areas of the Ukrainian capital and causing fires in multiple districts, according to Ukrainian officials. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said missile debris hit an 18-story residential building, while emergency services reported additional fires involving vehicles and other structures. The attack came less than a day after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia was preparing a major missile strike within 48 hours and followed a July 24 missile attack on a Kyiv arms exhibition that killed 10 people and injured more than 100. No casualties were immediately reported in the latest strike.
