Keralam Accident Shocker: 1 Dead, Over 20 Injured As Speeding Private Bus Overturns In Malappuram

A private bus travelling on the Thrissur-Kozhikode route lost control and overturned near Kuttippuram in Kerala's Malappuram district, leaving one person dead and around 20 others injured. The vehicle hit an autorickshaw before crashing into a road divider and overturning onto a car involved in an earlier accident. CCTV footage caught the exact moment of the crash, showing the bus skidding for over 25 metres before overturning. Three passengers remain in critical condition. Fire and rescue services, police, and local residents rushed to the scene, cutting open parts of the mangled bus to extricate trapped passengers. The injured were admitted to various hospitals across Kuttippuram, Valanchery, and Kozhikode.
