DONETSK, KHARKIV BATTLE: Drone Blitz Crushed? Russia Says 1,060 Ukrainian Drones Shot Down

Russia's Defence Ministry said on July 25 that its forces had advanced across multiple sectors of the front in Ukraine while inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian troops and equipment. Moscow claimed nearly 1,500 Ukrainian personnel were lost across several combat zones and reported strikes on logistics hubs, drone-production facilities, fuel depots and military infrastructure at 152 locations. The ministry also said Russian air defenses intercepted eight guided bombs and shot down 1,060 fixed-wing drones, one of the largest such claims of the war. Russia's statements could not be independently verified.
