Escalating strikes in Yemen conflict: Reports of delegations meeting in Oman for talks

Tensions between Yemen’s Houthi group and Saudi Arabia are escalating as both sides exchange attacks, despite ongoing efforts to de-escalate the conflict. The Houthis say they launched cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones targeting oil facilities in the Saudi cities of Yanbu and Jizan, while Saudi authorities say its air defence systems intercepted the attacks.
