CJP Protest Escalates: Nationwide Student March Called After Talks Deadlock With Government

A stalemate continues between the government and protesting student unions, prompting a call for a day-long nationwide peaceful protest. The government extended an offer for another round of talks, which was rejected by the protesters who are demanding a neutral venue rather than a ministerial residence or office. Consequently, there has been no breakthrough in the dialogue process. A union minister has issued an appeal to the students, stating readiness to discuss the agitation and related issues. According to the government, four offers for dialogue have been made to student representatives in the last twenty-four hours. The administration maintains it is waiting for a response and is prepared to hold discussions led by the health minister to find a solution.
