Additional Commissioner of Police (Punjabi Bagh) Jai Parkash sustained a forehead injury while on duty during the protest near Jantar Mantar after protesters allegedly attempted to march towards Parliament Street despite repeated police appeals to remain at the designated site. According to the officer, police personnel formed a human chain and erected barricades to prevent the march, following which some individuals allegedly hurled plastic water bottles and stones
