BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad Speaks On CJP Parliament March Violence, Rahul Gandhi's Protest & Police

Ravi Shankar Prasad, a senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, defended the government’s handling of examination-related concerns and criticised Rahul Gandhi’s protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence. He called Gandhi’s conduct 'irresponsible behavior' and said security protocol had been disregarded. On the examination issue, Prasad said a re-examination was conducted without an extra fee, results were declared, and those responsible for wrongdoing were arrested. He stated that future examinations would be computerised and argued that the Centre and states must work together against paper-leak networks. Prasad said genuine students’ concerns must be addressed, but alleged that recurring protest groups had entered the agitation and raised unrelated slogans. His central claim was, 'There are forces behind it.' He also affirmed citizens’ right to protest with reasonable restrictions while opposing political one-upmanship and the hijacking of student demands.
