Karnataka Orders SIT Probe into Land Linked to Art of Living Foundation

The Karnataka government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe allegations involving land linked to the Art of Living Foundation. According to Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara, the inquiry will examine complaints that a portion of the foundation's land may belong to SC/ST communities and investigate any alleged irregularities in its acquisition. The Art of Living Foundation has welcomed the probe, denied all allegations of encroachment, and maintained that it has acted within the law.
