US defence chief Hegseth says war on Iran has cost $37.5bn, seeks $87.6bn more

The cost of Washington's war in Iran has reached $37.5bn.
That's according to the US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
He told a Senate committee that the Pentagon now needs nearly $90bn in additional funding and says anything less would put US national security at risk.
