A massive protest unfolded near the Prime Minister's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg as police and Rapid Action Force personnel detained several prominent opposition leaders and party workers. The protesting politicians resisted detention while being loaded into police buses, with one worker climbing onto a bus roof to chant slogans against the government. Law enforcement officials repeatedly requested the parliamentarians to vacate the high-security area before initiating the forceful removal. The demonstration saw heavy deployment of security forces to clear the entry and exit gates, resulting in the physical removal of the Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and other key political figures from the protest site.
