Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has been admitted to New Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital following a prolonged fast. Giving an official update on his condition, Dr. Charu Bamba, Medical Superintendent of Safdarjung Hospital, confirmed that Wangchuk arrived presenting signs of weakness and mild dehydration affecting his electrolyte levels. While his vital parameters remain stable and he is fully conscious, medical teams are continuously monitoring his treatment under the Department of Medicine to correct his hydration levels before reviewing his discharge.
