Two devotees lost their lives and more than 100 others were injured after a crowd surge during the annual Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha. The incident occurred near Marichikote Chowk on the Badadanda (Grand Road) while devotees made way for an ambulance passing through the massive gathering.
