European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and several European leaders arrived for an official visit in Kyiv on Wednesday, coinciding with Ukrainian Statehood Day.
The EU has signed a drone deal with Ukraine, aimed at combining Ukrainian drone expertise with the European industrial base. Kyiv also received €1 billion for drone procurement from the Ukraine Support Loan.
Another 20 Russian “shadow fleet” vessels were struck in the Black Sea overnight, of which 17 were oil tankers. Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to strike Ukraine, killing at least 17 civilians throughout the day. This all comes as Zelenskyy is replacing the prime minister and pushing for a major government reshuffle.
