It's been a short while since we've seen an exciting motherboard from ASUS, but just like that... the ROG Crosshair 2006 arrived at the studio and oh man... it goes hard!

When seeking inspiration to build new systems, the motherboard obviously plays a large role in the overall aesthetic; think of it a little bit like the canvas on which we paint the rest of the picture.

That copper and blue aesthetic brings something different to this build, so we wanted the PRIME AP303 case to retain subtlety which in turn, drives the attention to the Crosshair 2006's heatsinks and blue spatters.

ASUS have once again created a visual masterpiece with this motherboard. I wish we had one of the OG motherboards from circa 2006 to showcase side by side, but much like this Crosshair board, a rarity isn't exactly easy to find!
