Typhoon Bavi batters China, forcing nearly 2 million evacuations

Typhoon Bavi has weakened to a tropical storm after making landfall in eastern China.
Nearly two million people were moved to safety ahead of its arrival overnight.
The storm brought powerful winds and torrential rain and caused flooding in some areas.
