Halifax police arrest suspect after racist tirade targeting Muslim women at Costco goes viral

Halifax police say a 37-year-old man is facing several charges, including incitement of hatred, related to an incident that took place inside a Costco store over the weekend.
It has been nearly a week since the altercation was captured on video and then shared online, drawing shock and condemnation from local community leaders.
A man appeared to threaten customers inside a Halifax Costco after yelling at a group of Muslim women to leave the country.
On Friday, Halifax Regional Police said they've since arrested Randall Byron, who now faces several charges.
