After the devastating mountain flood, I continued searching for my missing dog, Bong, hoping to find any sign that she had survived. Every trail, riverbank, and flooded field reminded me of the destruction left behind, but I refused to give up.

As I searched through the mountains, I met kind local people who offered encouragement and shared information that gave me hope. While walking along the river after the floodwaters receded, I made an unexpected discovery. A group of fish had become trapped in shallow pools, providing a much-needed source of food during a time when almost everything had been washed away.

This documentary follows my real journey through loss, survival, and hope. From searching for Bong to finding food in nature and slowly recovering after the flood, every moment reflects the challenges of living off the land in the mountains of Vietnam.
