Police have launched a murder investigation after former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe, 78, was found dead with serious injuries at her Dartmoor home.
Detectives are searching for a white male suspect and have appealed for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood urged the public not to speculate while the investigation continues.
