TCS Meets Muted Estimates In Q1, Wins Deals Worth $9.5 Billion | TCS Q1 Results

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 13,349 crore for the fiscal first quarter, down 2.7 percent quarter-on-quarter. The reported net profit was slightly below the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of Rs 13,461 crore.
However, the information technology major's revenue beat estimates, while the company highlighted continued momentum in its artificial intelligence (AI) business. TCS' April-June quarter revenue rose to Rs 72,275 crore, ahead of the CNBC-TV18 estimate of Rs 71,847 crore.#cnbctv18
