A phone memory popping up has a way of putting things in perspective. Week to week progress can feel slow, but looking back at where this property started makes it impossible to deny how much has changed. Philippe continues pulling the utilities from the chicken coop towards the veggie garden, and we can actually say we're almost there. Can you believe it? In between, we harvest our first salad from the veggie garden and sit down to actually eat it, one of those small moments that makes all the work worth it. Philippe then finishes the french drain at the back of the old barn, closing out a chapter that has been a long time coming.
