Election Roll Controversy in Karnataka | BJP Demands Fresh Survey | Claims on Voter List Revision

A political controversy has erupted in Karnataka over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Speaking in Bengaluru, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said the BJP and JD(S) submitted photos and videos to the Chief Electoral Officer and alleged irregularities in the voter enumeration process.

He also demanded that the recent enumeration be conducted again, claiming it violated Election Commission guidelines.

These are allegations made by the BJP and JD(S). The Election Commission and the state government may respond as the matter progresses.
