Breaking: Maharashtra CM Warns of More Heavy Rain & Strong Winds | Work From Home Announced | News

Maharashtra is witnessing extremely heavy rainfall, with Mumbai receiving nearly one month's rain in just four days.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the state government has reviewed the situation and issued a Work From Home advisory due to strong winds and heavy rain.

While Mumbai Metro services continue to operate normally, some railway routes have been affected. Nearly 300 trees fell during strong winds, and authorities have issued a cloudburst alert for the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar region.

NDRF and State Disaster Response teams have been deployed, and district administrations remain on high alert.
