VERDICT (watch: live WHEN a verdict has been reached)! : Former Tennessee Titans scout Blaise Taylor, 30 is on trial for the first-degree murder of his pregnant girlfriend, Jade Benning, 25 and their unborn child. Prosecutors allege Taylor poisoned Jade with a fatal dose of coc*in*, which she died from on her 25th birthday in March 2023. Blaise was arrested on March 27th, 2024 and charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder and 2 counts of felony murder. He was initially held on a $2.5 million bond, but bonded out in April 2024.
The trial is taking place in Davidson County Criminal Court in Nashville, Tennessee. Opening Statements June 23rd, 2026. Judge: Steven Dozier. Assistant DA Jan Norman, Lead Defense Attorney Letitia Quinones-Hollins.
