Home Assistant 2026.7 is in beta now and it ships one of the biggest updates to automations in years: purpose-specific triggers and conditions that let you build powerful automations without needing to know every entity name by heart.

🎯 What's new in this release:
✅ New Automation Editor with purpose-specific triggers & conditions — now FINAL for everyone
✅ Rebuilt Activity Logbook with a real-time timeline view
✅ Brand new "Update All" button to update all apps at once
✅ ZHA Zigbee Management overhauled with a much cleaner interface
✅ Matter.js is now final — improved Matter device management
✅ Infrared & RF device management now visible in Settings
✅ Tile card gets a new time format option (relative, date, time, etc.)

✅ SwitchBot AI Artframe image upload support
✅ Raspberry Pi firmware update entity — update your Pi from within HA
✅ Faster template engine — thanks, Frank!
✅ 10 new integrations added
