Staying at THE SANCHAYA feels like stepping into a curated, alternate reality. While many resorts in the region lean into standard tropical tropes, this property opted for a deliberate, design-forward aesthetic that feels closer to a private colonial estate than a standard hotel. With only 30 rooms, the sense of privacy and space is significant, especially when compared to the high-density properties nearby.
However, the logistics of the experience were mixed. While the service team displayed incredible patience and professionalism, the food and beverage program struggled to match the high price point of the rooms.
