Justin Gaethje delivered a huge moment Sunday night, finishing Ilia Topuria in the UFC Freedom 250 main event on the White House South Lawn and leaving as the new UFC lightweight champion.

Topuria entered the fight undefeated and was expected by many to defend his title. His boxing, power, and pressure looked like major problems on paper, but Gaethje pulled him into a hard, gritty fight where he was willing to trade and suffer.
Gaethje started well, using his jab, uppercuts, and pressure to make Topuria work right away. Topuria answered with strong counters and heavy shots to the body, but Gaethje kept pushing forward and forced him into tough exchanges.
Round 2 was a dangerous round for Gaethje.
