WHAT A WAY TO END HEARTSTOPPER SEASON 1!! We're back with another Mom & Daughters Reacts, and this time Tessa (Mama's Geeky), Lorie, and Ivy are finishing Heartstopper Season 1! What an absolutely beautiful season. We completely understand why so many people adore this series because by the end of these episodes, we were totally in love with every single one of these characters. The second half of the season takes everything we loved about the first four episodes and somehow makes it even more emotional. Watching Nick continue to explore and understand his identity was handled with so much care and authenticity. His journey is one of the most heartfelt and relatable storylines we've seen in a long time. Meanwhile, Charlie and Nick's relationship continues to grow, giving us so many adorable moments that had us smiling nonstop. The chemistry between them is incredible, and it's impossible not to root for them. This show is wholesome, heartfelt, and exactly the kind of series that leaves you smiling long after it ends.
Joe Locke (Agatha All Along) delivers a beautiful performance as Charlie Spring, bringing warmth, vulnerability, and heart to every scene. Kit Connor (Rocketman, His Dark Materials) is absolutely phenomenal as Nick Nelson, whose emotional journey is one of the highlights of the entire series. Yasmin Finney (Doctor Who) continues to shine as Elle Argent, bringing confidence and heart to the role. William Gao (Sunset Ibiza) is fantastic as Tao Xu, whose friendship and loyalty remain central to the story. Corinna Brown (My Murder) and Kizzy Edgell continue to be wonderful as Tara Jones and Darcy Olsson. Olivia Colman (The Crown, The Favourite) steals every scene she's in as Nick's mom, delivering some of the most touching moments of the season.
We laughed, we cried, we smiled constantly, and we completely fell in love with Heartstopper. What an incredible first season, and we cannot wait to continue this journey!
