Nancy’s home, affectionately named Tiny Tina Turner, was designed around simplicity, comfort and the things she loves most: plants, books, crystals, natural light, and views out over the countryside. At 8 metres long, this thoughtfully designed tiny house includes a ground-floor bedroom, a cosy elevated lounge, a practical central kitchen, a spacious bathroom, smart storage, solar power, rainwater collection and a composting toilet.
After leaving behind the pressure of Sydney city life, Nancy has been able to reduce her overheads, cut back her working hours, and create a lifestyle where time, peace and personal wellbeing matter more than endless bills and stress. Her story is inspiring, honest and deeply relatable for anyone who has ever felt trapped by the pace of modern life.
This tiny house tour is about much more than downsizing. It’s about choosing a different path, building a simpler life, and discovering how tiny house living can create more freedom, security, and joy.
