Chaos erupted on Bournemouth beach as a large group of youths allegedly chased and assaulted a man while police officers were also attacked. Dorset Police deployed around 35 officers and a helicopter to control the disorder, with witnesses describing scenes of panic as families fled the packed beachfront during the bank holiday heatwave.
