In this review, we evaluate the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Woodland AWD Hybrid, tested at $42,200 USD | $49,078.92 CAD, with the shared 236 hp hybrid system, 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine, ECVT, Electronic On-Demand AWD, 235/65R18 all terrain tires, 12 inch front brakes, 11.1 inch rear brakes, 37.8 cubic feet of cargo space, and the Woodland-specific 120V/1500W cargo outlet. The main comparison is the cheaper and quieter RAV4 XLE Premium AWD, which tows the same 3,500 pounds and avoids the Woodland’s daily tire noise and fuel economy penalty.
