The first step to success in any exam is understanding what it entails. The MACE exam is designed to assess your knowledge and competency in administering medication as a certified Medication Aide. The test is usually divided into two parts:
Written Exam: This part consists of MACE Exam multiple-choice questions that cover various aspects of medication administration, including pharmacology, medication preparation, and patient care. You can expect around 100 to 120 questions that need to be completed within two to three hours.
- Practical Exam: Some states may require a practical component, where you demonstrate your ability to administer medication safely and correctly in a controlled environment.
