Lenovo modernises virtualisation infrastructure for AI‑ready future

Lenovo has introduced new infrastructure solutions to help enterprises modernise virtualised environments and build a foundation ready for AI. The updates span hardware, deployment services and validated modernisation paths across major virtualisation and hybrid cloud platforms.

The launch includes the ThinkAgile VX850 V4, engineered for highly virtualised and in‑memory workloads, giving organisations a route to consolidate and refresh critical systems while creating headroom for emerging AI‑driven applications. Lenovo has also expanded its Infrastructure Deployment Services into three tiers: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus, offering clearer guidance for customers based on project complexity and operational needs. Premier Deploy Plus adds extended post‑deployment support and a one‑year health assessment.

Lenovo Express Solutions have been expanded to provide pre‑validated configurations across platforms, including Microsoft Hyper‑V, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation, Microsoft Azure Local with ThinkAgile MX V4, Nutanix Compute Cluster, and SUSE Virtualisation. These options are designed to reduce integration work and accelerate time-to-value.

Further updates to Lenovo ThinkSystem Storage, ThinkAgile HCI and Lenovo XClarity management tools aim to strengthen cyber resilience, improve visibility across distributed environments and support both traditional and AI‑native workloads. Scott Patti, Vice President of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group, said the company is helping customers modernise with “greater choice and control” while preparing for evolving AI requirements.
