40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece is the third in the series of four collectable sets that are being offered as gifts with purchase this year.

We've only just received our sample, so our review is a bit late, but it is still available at LEGO.com, and you have until the 20th to get your order in.

The establishment sits upon a 10x12 base and features a single table for al fresco dining at the front and a food preparation area at the back. It's seemingly mandatory for food vendors in LEGO City to display an oversized version of their wares on the roof, so this one obliges with a fish, which could well be a sea bream, a Greek favourite.

The stairs on the side lead to nowhere but they are typical of the region and while it looks like they are occupying space that could be better used, the actual building is the same size (8x10) as the others in the series.

There's not much of a kitchen, just a single ring stove, a worktop, and some storage underneath. It looks as if waffles and orange juice are being prepared. The curtain decoration under the hob is a sticker, one of just three in the set.

Unlike the other two restaurants whose seats are looking into the kitchen, this one has a bench-style seat facing outwards, behind a table crammed with fish, capers (printed tile), a wine glass and a fork. There's also a bowl of water on the ground for the cat.

The proprietor is wearing a traditional embroidered shirt with the phrase ΚΑΛΗ ΟΡΕΞΗ on the back, which is a common Greek phrase said before eating. It translates literally to 'good appetite' and means 'enjoy your meal'.

She has a double-sided head with two equally nondescript expressions.

Comparing it to the others in the series, it looks a lot smaller height-wise, and indeed it does have fewer pieces than the Japanese and Mexican restaurants. Nevertheless, it displays well with them and if you're collecting the series you'll want to get hold of this one as well. So, do so while you still can!
