Summer 2026 has been the summer of the sheer nail. Apart from the sporadic coastal blue for summer vacay, or an espresso moment, this season the celebs are really sticking to glossy, light pink and milky white shades. And the latest A-lister to sport one of these elegant manis, naturally, is queen of posh Victoria Beckham.
While manifesting on a boat with her husband David during the solar eclipse, VB gave us a glimpse of her perfect glossy pink, rose water manicure. One could ask what more the legendary couple could possibly need to manifest in this world, but we will keep the focus locked tightly onto Victoria’s nails because they are simply perfect.
As a beauty director, I think it’s often expected of me to have more unique nail colors and intricate designs, but I always like to keep my manicure simple. I’ve found that this length (about a centimeter off the nail bed) and this shape (rounded almond) are the most flattering for a majority of people. So, when you combine that with VB’s rose water hue, which is a sheer rosy pink, you’re onto a winner.
Also, the best part: This nail color can often be worn longer than bolder polishes, since the grow-out or chipping is far less obvious. Perfect for those of us who may have gone a little overboard on our Euro Summer spending and need to stretch this out as our last nail salon visit for summer. Sigh. Maybe the Beckhams could send their crystals this way after they are done with them and we can MANIfest free nail appointments for eternity...

To recreate rose water nails, start with clean, shaped nails and apply a sheer, milky pink polish as your base, choosing a shade that gives your nails a naturally flushed, translucent look. For a salon-quality option, try a Bio Sculpture mani in Sheer Admiration or The GelBottle in Rosy, both of which give nails that soft, pink-washed effect. Finish with a high-shine top coat for an ultra-glossy, almost wet-looking finish. The key is keeping the color subtle and buildable, so your nails still look like your natural nails, just rosier.
