The gameplay and story of Little Kitty, Big City, is deceptively simple. You are a curious cat setting out on an adventure to explore a modern-day Japanese-inspired metropolis. Along the way, you'll meet other talking animals, get up to mischief and explore various interactions and mishaps along the way.
Cat's all folks! Yes, it's pretty straightforward, and a little like a more cosy version of the game Stray. But Little Kitty, Big City has already gotten its paws into the hearts of critics with its PC and console release, so no doubt mobile fans will feel the same when it launches for iOS and Android in late 2026.The mobile version of Little Kitty, Big City also comes with an exclusive AR photo mode that lets you transplant your personalised cat into the real world. It's an ingenious little addition to an already feature-rich game making its way to mobile with all the same updates as other platforms.
Even if you're especially critical of cats, or sceptical that you might enjoy this, there's no harm in giving it a go. Because Little Kitty, Big City is the latest mobile game to offer a try-before-you-buy policy, letting you play through the entire prologue before deciding whether or not to buy.
