PM Andy Burnham will be 'relentless' in tackling small boat crossings
Prime Minister Andy Burnham has been speaking to the media during a visit to HM Coastguard Maritime Rescue Co-ordinations Centre in Dover, Kent.
When asked about the small boat crossings, the new Prime Minister said that he will be "relentless in tackling the crossings" and that he was not "complacent" about the issue.
Burnham was also asked about the migrant crossing in Ceuta, Spain.
He said he had been in touch with authorities in Spain, and that the "immediate issue had been resolved, but that he wanted to be in regular dialogue with the EU about the Schengen Agreement and the political fallout from the situation."
Finally the leader stated that he "did not think Infantino was the right man to lead football on the world stage" after FIFA's proposed World cup plan.
