Celtic recently confirmed the signing of Denmark international Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt on a permanent deal to bolster Martin O'Neill's options at the top end of the pitch.
The 25-year-old star has joined for a fee that could reach a club-record fee in excess of £11m if all the add-ons are activated, which shows that the club mean business in the transfer market this summer.
Hogh, who could feature against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership opener on Monday night, may not be the last addition for the attack before the end of the window.
The Hoops are locked in talks with Real Oviedo over a deal to sign right-sided winger Haissem Hassan in a deal that could cost up to £10m to complete.

That is a lot of money to spend on a player who has yet to prove that he can deliver consistent quality at the top end of the pitch, in either of the top two divisions in Spain.
Paying a fee in excess of £11m for Hogh made sense on paper because he scored 17 league goals for Bodo/Glimt in 2025 and scored five goals in the Champions League last season.
Hassan, though, has only scored 15 goals and provided 22 assists in 225 club matches in his career, whilst he has also yet to score for Egypt in six caps for his country.

Celtic, therefore, may be reluctant to go as high as £10m for the 24-year-old winger because he has yet to show that he has the kind of consistency in the final third that is expected of attackers at Parkhead.

Foot Algerien reports that Celtic are interested in a deal to sign Frosinone right winger Fares Ghedjemis before the end of the summer transfer window.
The outlet reveals that the club are in advanced talks with the Italian side over a move for the Algeria international, as they look to bolster O'Neill's squad with new options on the flank.
It adds that the talks have been positive, so far, and that the Hoops are hoping that the player's desire to play in a European competition could help them to convince him to make the move to Glasgow.
It was reported earlier this summer that he would cost in excess of £8m, after Norwich City made an offer for that amount, so it remains to be seen exactly how much the Scottish side will have to pay for his services.
The deal should be a no-brainer for the Hoops if he is available for less than Hassan's £10m price tag, though, because he would be a much better addition to the squad.

Ghedjemis scored as many goals for Frosinone in the Serie B last season as the Egypt international has racked up in 225 club career appearances to date, which speaks to the gulf in goalscoring quality between the two players.
Hassan has also never created more than six 'big chances' for his teammates in a season in his career, five fewer than the Algerian star produced for the Italian side in the 2025/26 campaign.
Despite being a year younger than the Real Oviedo forward, Ghedjemis has already provided more quality at the top end of the pitch than Hassan has in his entire career to date.
Whilst that is not a guarantee that the Algeria international will be a success at Parkhead, he has proven that he can deliver consistent quality at a decent level, which gives the club an idea of what they will be signing.
Whereas, Hassan is more of an unknown quantity and would be a riskier signing for the Scottish giants, as he could explode at Parkhead or he could continue to be incredibly inconsistent as both a scorer and as a creator.
That is why Celtic should pay Frosinone's asking price, within reason, because Ghedjemis seems to be a far better signing on paper to fill the right wing slot for O'Neill.
