What songs will be on Jennie’s new album?

Jennie has yet to confirm any of the tracks that will be on her upcoming project, but she has been dropping clues through her recent live performances. She first teased “Less Than a Lover” during her headlining set at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York back in June (and later released the music video for the song on July 24).

The Gov Ball set also included a preview of another track called “Lock It Down,” which seems to be all about a “secret love affair.”

And that’s not all! Jennie’s Gov Ball set included a third unreleased track titled “Heaven,” in which she sings about “heartbreak.”

She has gone on to perform these tracks at other festivals, including Roskilde Festival, Open’er Festival, and Mad Cool Festival—but so far, “Less Than a Lover” is the only one to get an official release.

When will Jennie’s second album come out?

Fans will have to be patient for more details on when Jennie’s album will come out. As a reminder, the BLACKPINK star just put out a solo project this year with the release of Ruby (The Complete Collection)—an anniversary release that celebrated the arrival of her debut solo record and included six new songs to boot—on March 6, so a second album likely won’t arrive for some time.

But! Jennie is feeling super stoked at being able to share new material with her fans. In a brief moment while talking with fans at the Open’er Festival, she said (via Billboard), “It feels really special to share new music with this many people...I really can’t wait to share this new music with you soon.”
