He believes in a world of abundance where everyone’s needs, and most of their wants, will be met. Even if the timeline slips past 2036, the directional progress matters. Handing the capital and decision-making to less capable people (or worse, allowing authoritarian regimes to monopolize the same technologies) would slow innovation, reduce employment and medical breakthroughs, and risk concentrating power in ways that limit individual freedom. These people think they’re being vigilantes against the rich, with ZERO understanding of how the world works.
