The Magic Begins: Anime Festival Asia 10th Edition
Jakarta, IO – Anime Festival Asia Indonesia (AFAID26) is celebrating its 10th edition, promising to present a spectacular weekend packed with anime, music, cosplay, creators, exclusive merchandise, stage shows, and immersive experiences that deliver the very best of Japanese pop culture.
Since making its debut in Indonesia, AFA has become one of the country’s biggest and most awaited Japanese pop culture festivals, attracting and connecting hundreds of thousands of fans in the world of anime, music, gaming, cosplay, creators, and Japanese entertainment.

This year’s theme, “Celebrate the Magic of Japan Pop Culture,” captures the unforgettable moments, including watching favorite artists’ live performance, meeting special guests, discovering new creators, showing off cosplay, hunting for exclusive merchandise, or simply sharing the experience with friends. Every visitor will have the chance to create their own magical AFA memories.
The event will also bring together industry partners, exhibitors, artists, performers and creators, creating a dynamic space for fans to discover new favorites.
In the evening, the excitement continues, with AFA’s signature concert experience, bringing live performances and music from Japan closer to Indonesian fans. The lively daytime festival and unforgettable nighttime concerts promise an action-packed weekend for all fans.
AFA’s beloved mascot, Seika, will also return to AFAID26, with a fresh new design created by renowned Japanese illustrator LAM.

Seika embodies the imagination, creativity, and sense of wonder that bring AFA fans together. LAM is known for his work on the arcade rhythm game WACCA, the takt op. anime and mobile game, and as the character designer for holo live Indonesia member Kureiji Ollie.
After creating AFA Indonesia’s official key visuals in 2024 and 2025, LAM will also shape the visual identity of AFAID26, making this 10th edition more memorable.
The Most-Awaited AFA Concert Weekend
AFA Concert Weekend will offer two nights of live Japanese music and entertainment. Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy stage events, interactive experiences, community activities and plenty of surprises. From meeting talented cosplayers and discovering creators to shopping for must have merchandise and exclusive collaborations, every corner of AFAID26 is designed to create magical moments that fans can experience, collect, share, and remember.
