Taylor Frankie Paul's Baby Daddies SLAM Her For Downplaying Child Services' Claims That Their Kids Are 'Abused, Neglected, or Dependent'

Taylor Frankie Paul‘s baby daddies do NOT like how she responded to the Utah Division of Child and Family Services’ troubling petition about her three kids!

As we previously reported, DCFS filed a petition asking a juvenile court to find that the reality star’s children — 8-year-old daughter Indy and 5-year-old son Ocean, whom she shares with ex Tate Paul, and 2-year-old son Ever, whom she shares with ex Dakota Mortensen — have been “abused, neglected or dependent” and order protective supervision and appoint a guardian ad litem. Her lawyers reacted to the report, saying this is nothing more than a “common step for families engaged in highly contentious, complex custody matters.” However, her exes would say otherwise!

Chad Shattuck, an attorney for Dakota and Tate, slammed Taylor’s response in a statement to People on Friday, accusing her of downplaying the seriousness of child services’ actions. The lawyer said the men are “deeply concerned that Taylor’s statement minimizes the gravity of the action filed by DCFS and her many underlying actions that prompted such.” He continued:

“The petition filed by DCFS this week is not a routine transition to juvenile court or an opportunity for personal growth. DCFS has asked the Court to find that the children are abused and has requested an expedited hearing concerning their immediate protection.”

Shattuck said Dakota and Tate “share the serious concern that the family court system, law enforcement, prosecutors, and child-welfare agencies need meaningful coordination necessary to understand the situation and act in a manner most likely to protect the children.” And that is their priority moving forward — protecting the kids. The statement concluded:

“Tate and Dakota remain focused on protecting the children, giving them the time and space they need to heal, supporting meaningful accountability, and using what their families have experienced to help improve coordination between these systems in the future. Despite the myriad false accusations published online and on social media about them by Taylor and others, Tate and Dakota have chosen to not participated in the often misconstrued social media and other online activity surrounding their cases. They have remained silent to protect their children, not because they have nothing to say. When the time is right, they will tell their story in their own words in the appropriate forum.”

Well, they have not been totally silent. Tate did comment about their rocky co-parenting relationship weeks ago. And Dakota has seemingly done nothing to stop his roommate and pal, Cru Eaton, from leaking videos and details online about what allegedly went on behind the scenes. Just saying…

But in all seriousness, all we want is what is best for the kid after the very concerning allegations against TFP. Hopefully, they are OK during this incredibly difficult time. Reactions to the statement, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
