Fifty-five Inspectors of Police (Civil) across police stations, specialised wings and traffic units were transferred across the Cyberabad Commissionerate as part of an administrative reshuffle. The transfers, which take immediate effect, were made on administrative grounds, according to an order issued by the Commissioner of Police M. Ramesh on Friday (July 17, 2026).
Among the key changes, K.V. Subba Rao, who was serving as Station House Officer (SHO) of Kukatpally, has been posted as SHO of Madhapur, while T. Bhoopathi, Deputy Inspector (DI) of Raidurgam, has been appointed as SHO of Raidurgam. G. Prashanth, who headed the Miyapur Traffic Police Station, has been transferred as SHO of Balanagar, and G. Vijay Kumar from the Cyber Crimes wing has been posted as SHO of KPHB.
D. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy has been posted as the SHO of Narsingi replacing G. Hari Krishna Reddy — who has been transferred to the City Training Centre or the Commissionerate Training Center (CTC).
Other notable transfers include Venkat Reddy, SHO of Allapur, transferred and posted as SHO of Kollur Traffic Police Station, A.R.E.S. Sridhar from Madhapur Traffic Police Station appointed as SHO of Chandanagar, B. Anji Reddy from the Special Operations Team (SOT), Serilingampally posted as SHO of Medchal, and K. Ravi Kumar from the CCS, Kukatpally, transferred and posted as SHO of Jeedimetla.
The reshuffle also saw officers moved to specialised units. Three inspectors - A. Gangadhar, P. Yadi Reddy and A. Manmohan - have been posted to the Cyber Crimes wing, while A. Ramesh Babu and M. Laxma Reddy have been posted to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), while E. Venkat Reddy has been posted to the Women and Child Safety Wing.
The order directs all Deputy Commissioners of Police concerned to relieve the transferred officers immediately and report compliance to the Commissioner’s office.
