Vietnam’s deputy prime minister has called for “comprehensive and decisive” measures to tackle rising cases of food poisoning.

Pham Thi Thanh Tra said there was a need for stricter school food safety with a focus on the management of kitchens as well as controlling the origin of food supplies and processing conditions.
